Friends in Georgia

Text and photographs showing the work of our Georgian Friends in alleviating the chaos and problems of Georgia in the present war.

Friends in Georgia have been driving around refugees’ sites (schools, any public building) to assess their numbers and problems. One Friend is a GP, who is dispensing very ordinary medication. They have also been distributing food and clothing.

The pictures below come from a Georgian Friend. He is a Member of Georgian Meeting, which was validated with the help of Quaker Moscow Office, in November 2007.
